This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines how Hatchables (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles the delivery, transportation, and return of rental equipment and supplies. This information is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute legal advice. For legal questions, please consult a qualified professional.

1. Delivery Areas

Hatchables currently delivers to select regions within the GTA and surrounding areas.
During checkout, customers must enter their delivery address to confirm eligibility.

If your address is outside our service zone, we may contact you to arrange an alternative or issue a refund.

2. Delivery Scheduling

  • Customers choose a preferred delivery date at checkout.

  • Delivery dates are not guaranteed but we do our best to meet the chosen day.

  • You will receive a confirmation email with your delivery date and time window.

We may contact you to adjust your delivery time due to weather, routing, or schedule changes.

3. Delivery Requirements

  • By booking a Hatchables package, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate delivery information

  • Have an adult (18+) available to receive the equipment

  • Ensure safe access to the delivery location (e.g., no blocked entrances, aggressive dogs, etc.)

  • If we are unable to complete delivery due to customer availability or access issues, a redelivery fee may apply.

4. Delivery Procedure

  • Your rental kit will arrive fully prepared, cleaned, and sanitized.
    Each delivery includes:

  • Incubator

  • Fertilized eggs

  • Brooder setup

  • Feed & accessories

  • Printed setup instructions

  • A brief overview or handoff may be provided at the door depending on your delivery type.

5. Pickup & Returns

  • At the end of your rental:

  • Equipment must be cleaned, packed, and ready for pickup on the scheduled date.

  • An adult must be available for pickup unless otherwise arranged.

  • If equipment is not ready or accessible, a rescheduling or missed pickup fee may apply.

  • Customers outside the pickup zone may be required to drop off the equipment at a designated location.

6. Missed Delivery or Pickup Fees

  • A fee may be charged if:

  • No one is available during the scheduled drop-off or pickup

  • Equipment is not packed/cleaned and ready

  • The address provided is incorrect

  • Access to the property is restricted

  • These fees help cover fuel, time, and scheduling disruptions.

7. Delays Due to Weather or Unforeseen Events

  • Hatchables may delay deliveries or pickups due to:

  • Severe weather

  • Road closures

  • Emergencies

  • Vehicle issues

  • Illness

  • We will notify you as soon as possible and reschedule at the earliest available opportunity.

8. Condition of Delivered Items

  • All Hatchables equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and inspected before delivery.

  • Customers must immediately report:

  • Damaged equipment

  • Missing items

  • Incorrect package contents

  • Failure to report issues within 24 hours may affect replacement eligibility.
